The government of Hungary is providing 200 scholarships to Kenyans for undergraduate , master’s , one-tier (both bachelor’s and master’s scholarship) and PhD degrees for the year 2022/2023.
The main courses for Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree include: IT, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Economical Sciences, Health Science, Sports Science, Natural Science, Engineering Science and Legal Science (Master’s degree). For PhD students, any field of interest is applicable, however, one must have a supervisor at a host university.
Eligibility criteria:
- KSCE mean grade of B (Plain) and B (Plain) in the core subjects
- Completed secondary school within the last 3 years and with a certificate
- Not be more than 25 years
- Postgraduate (Master’s and PhD)
- Graduated with first class honors or second class honors upper division
- Relevant Master’s degree for PhD
- Below 38 years for Master’s degree and 45 years and below for PhD

Application Process
The application process is 2 step. Firstly, apply on the online portal – Tempus Public Foundation (Linked here). The deadline for application is 15th January 2022. Secondly, place application to the Ministry of Education by filling the application form to be obtained at ministry office and attach additional documents listed below.
