The Government of Ireland is awarding scholarship opportunities to high caliber students from non-European Economic Area nation states for one year. The Higher Education Authority shall award scholarship funds to students amounting to 10,000 euros per head for a period of one year. The fund is meant to cover the student’s living expenses and costs. The scholarship will be provided during:
- The last year of the undergraduate programme
- One year of a master’s programme or
- A year of the research programme for PhD students
Eligibility:
- Candidates should have strong academic, professional, creative and/or personal excellence
- They should be excellent communicators
- Applicants need to have a history of extra curriculum activities such as sports, arts, international, national or local politics as well as humanitarian work
- Should have strong rationale for pursuing studies in Ireland
Programmes offered:

Benefits of the Scholarship
- Successful students will be provided a full tuition fee waiver for the specified year of scholarship. This means that registration charge and tuition fee are waived.
Process of Application
- Applicants must possess a final or a conditional offer for admission to the chosen institution at the application time for the scholarship
- They should submit a copy of the final or conditional offer for admission
- Applications are done online at HEA Grant Application portal
