The Development Economics Vice Presidency of World Bank if offering scholarships to young researchers and students. World Bank is providing scholarships through the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP)
Benefits:

- Monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses including accommodations, food, books etc.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be citizens of member countries of World Bank
- They should not have dual citizenship of another developing nation state
- After or on the date of application call, they should not be staff of the World Bank Group or close relative of any staff of World Bank Group
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent attained at least three years prior the application deadline
- They should at least have a three years-experience in development-based employment since completion of their undergraduate degree
Exception: Candidates from conflict-stricken and fragile developing nation states will be given special consideration (Check the list Annex 3 of application guidelines)
- The program should be outside the country of citizenship or residence of the applicant
Application Process
- The candidates should obtain an unconditional admission for the upcoming year to one or more of the participating master’s program of JJ/WBGSP listed in the JJWBGSP website
- Application is done electronically by filling the online application form

- Two recommendation letters from professional experience
- Completed application form

- Bachelor’s degree diploma and diploma of most advanced graduate degree if applicable
- C.V. in the format shown in this guidance
- Unconditional admission letter to JJ/WBGSP master’s program for the upcoming year except for financing
